The elegant 1 703 square-metre, world-class Silver Ring on Level 2 features stunning views of the Durban Skyline and serves as the perfect backdrop for any corporate event. For banquet receptions (150 banquet-style), the carpeted 650 square-metre Classic Room also on Level 2 sets the stage for an evening to remember.
Within the building, you will find: A state-of-the-art 4 Star buffet restaurant called the Durbanview Restaurant (it’s only open on race days) and a food court called The Padock. We also have an eatery called the Finishing Post which sells ice-cold beverages and amazing food. During race days you can also find The Whip & Saddle, The Shorthead Bar and The Lightning Shot Bar available to serve you delicious food and cold beverages. Onsite you can also find ATMs, betting shops and very strong Wi-Fi connection. The Greyville Convention Centre is also home to more than 5 elevators to each floor to streamline set-up and break-down of your event, as well as a diverse workforce of expert sales managers, event coordinators and set up crew.
